Our Founders
identID was founded in 2022 by Alex Schaal, MD, and Paul Tallaj, MD, two surgeons trained in Queens, New York serving the most medically underserved and diverse populations in the country.
After seeing how difficult it was to address less understood, misdiagnosed, or improperly managed conditions that everyday primary care physicians face, the two teamed up to launch the identID telemedicine platform.
With solution plans already available for online weight loss, ED treatment, hormone replacement therapy, and more, the IdentID team is united by a shared vision: a world where anyone, regardless of culture, ethnicity or race can secure effective healthcare.
